Sobriety4Life (S4L) is a forum-driven community intended to educate, inform, and provide opportunities for those in recovery. The organizer of Sobriety4Life is a recovering alcoholic-addict of nearly a decade.  When arriving to a meeting in 2016, she was homeless, financially-destitute, and estranged from family.  After numerous police-involved incidents and desperate, she made it back through the doors of a 12-step meeting she had been many times throughout her adult life.  For her, the difference between previous relapses and that last "bottom" was that she became accountable to her illness, actions, and commitment to put into practice tools to maintain recovery.  Founding this group is part of that commitment.

Today, D. is a real estate renovator / investor and four-time, self-published children's book author.  She claims that without recovery, the life she now enjoys would not be possible. 

 

Our goal is that S4L provide other lifestyle-similar people a place to connect with others on their own terms while having access to the information and resources they seek:  to connect as much or as little as they choose.  Although walking different paths, members are traveling the recovery journey together.  Regardless of background or status, we ARE a community that works, learns, and shares a goal of wanting to create a balanced life free from substance dependence.​​  Welcome to the Community!
